David Ingordo, Managing Member of Belladonna Racing, LLC & Ingordo Bloodstock, LLC. David Ingordo was bred into the sport of Thoroughbred racing. He is the son of a jockey agent, Jerry Ingordo, who managed such Hall of Fame riders as Laffit Pincay Jr., Sandy Hawley, and Patrick Valenzuela. David’s mother, Dottie Ingordo-Shirreffs, is respected as one of the most successful racing managers in the history of the sport. His stepfather is world-renowned Thoroughbred trainer John Shirreffs, who trained the 2005 Kentucky Derby winner GIACOMO and developed the history-making 2010 Horse of the Year ZENYATTA.

Ingordo began working for legendary Hall of Fame trainer Bobby Frankel at the age of 14. He quickly rose to be one of the youngest assistant trainers in the country at the age of 18. Upon graduating from high school, he attended the University of Kentucky where he worked in the mornings at Juddmonte Farms. Following his time at UK, Ingordo worked for Walmac International and quickly became the head of its bloodstock department, where he worked for five years before establishing his own bloodstock management and acquisition agency, Ingordo Bloodstock, LLC.

David is married to Cherie DeVaux, and he has a horse- and animal-loving daughter, Reagan.
